  • Double-decker bus or bicycle tour: The double-decker bus is a relatively new mode of transportation in Hanoi, ideal for visiting the Temple of Literature and other landmarks in the capital. Alternatively, you can also join a city bike tour for a more enjoyable experience.
  • You can also get around using personal vehicles such as bicycles or motorcycles, but be mindful of traffic signs along the way, as most roads around the Temple of Literature are one-way streets. Alternatively, you can use ride-hailing services for convenience.     Ticket Prices and Other Important Notes

    Unlike the daytime ticket price of 30,000 VND per person for visiting, the evening entrance fee to the Temple of Literature is higher, priced at 199,000 VND for adults. Children under 1 meter tall who require a separate seat will be charged 99,000 VND, while those accompanying and sharing a seat with an adult will enter free of charge.

    The nighttime visiting hours at the Temple of Literature are from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Since the temple does not host evening tours every day, it's essential to check and prepare everything in advance before scheduling a visit.
